Laparoscopic Hysterectomy Workshop Programme

The morning of the workshop is spent covering the theoretical aspects of LAVH, with a major emphasis on techniques for efficient haemostasis. We consider electrosurgery to be an important component of the procedure, and it is important that the principles of safe and efficient electrosurgery are understood. We also believe the the ability to suture laparoscopically is integral to safe and effective surgery. There will be the opportunity to practice some of these techniques on models before the afternoon session in the operating theatre.
