Gynaecological Endoscopy and Vaginal Surgery Workshops
at the Royal Free Hospital, London
We have been running training courses in diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy, operative laparoscopy and vaginal surgery since 1989; the 100th "Hands On" Gynaecological Endoscopy Skills Workshop took place in September 2005.
The workshops are organised by Mr.
Adam Magos BSc MB BS MD FRCOG, Consultant Gynaecologist at the Royal Free Hospital.
If you want to learn how to do "no touch" (vaginoscopic) hysteroscopy, use a resectoscope safely and effectively and be able to suture laparoscopically, come to the 3 Day "Hands On" Gynaecological Endoscopy Workshop. If you want to learn how to carry out an efficient laparoscopic hysterectomy, come to the "Hands On" Laparoscopic Hysterectomy Workshop, If you want to learn how to do a vaginal hysterectomy for an enlarged fibroid uterus, perform salpingo-oophorectomy vaginally or carry out vaginal myomectomy, come to our Advanced Techniques in Vaginal Hysterectomy Workshop. If you are a nurse who wants to understand gynaecological endoscopy and run an efficient operating theatre, come to the "Hands On" Gynaecological Endoscopy Course for Nurses.
There is a strong emphasis on "Hands
On" training in the lab and operating theatre with most of our workshops, and our courses are recognised by the Royal College of
Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London, UK for
Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits and new
Level 1-2 training in hysteroscopy and laparoscopy. All delegates attending the Endoscopy Workshop, LAVH Workshop or Vaginal Hysterectomy Workshops will be given a DVD containing recordings of entire procedures performed during the course.
